We, Us or Our - Airlads the company and it's employees.

Client - any person who enters into an agreement with Airlads for the provision of Airlads labour hire services

Worker - an individual who is a resident of Australia for tax purposes and is registered on Airlads for the purposes of seeking employment

Builder - (also known as head-contractor) is a company (or entity) registered and licensed by the Victorian Building Authority as a Commercial Builder or Domestic Builder.

Building Contractor – (also known as sub-contractor), is a company that employs skilled tradesman to perform construction related services under a contract with a Builder. Examples include concreting contractor, formwork contractor, precast company, traffic management company, demolition company etc.

Hirer - person using the airlads website seeking to hire a worker. Can be a "Builder", "Building Contractor" or other company seeking labour hire services

Customer - is a Builder, Building Contractor or Worker (or person contacting us seeking information about or wanting to become either)

User - any person who uses the Site, whether as a Worker, Builder, Building Contractor or Customer or otherwise

personal information - has the meaning given in the Privacy Act 1988

Personal Data - means data about a living individual who can be identified from those data (or from those and other information either in our possession or likely to come into our possession).

Site - means the "Airlads" website known as "www.airlads.com.au"

Service - is the "https://airlads.com.au", website operated by Airlads

Usage Data - data collected automatically either generated by the use of the Service or from the Service infrastructure itself (for example, the duration of a page visit)

Cookies - are small pieces of data stored on your device (computer or mobile device)

Data Controller - means the natural or legal person who (either alone or jointly or in common with other persons) determines the purposes for which and the manner in which any personal information are, or are to be, processed.For the purpose of this Privacy Policy, We are a Data Controller of your Personal Data.

In respect of Builders or Building Contractors we may also collect ABN/ACN, Company Details, Building licence details, credit card and bank account details.

In respect of Workers we may also collect information about your occupation, work experience, skills, qualifications, superannuation and bank account details, a photograph of you (for potential use in connection with your Airlads user profile on the Site. Airlads may directly contact the Worker to assist them in creating (and finalising) their Worker profile.

We may use your Personal Data to contact you with newsletters, marketing or promotional materials and other information that may be of interest to you. You may opt out of receiving any, or all, of these communications from us by following the unsubscribe link or instructions provided in any email we send.

Usage Data

We may also collect information how the Service is accessed and used ("Usage Data"). This Usage Data may include information such as your computer's Internet Protocol address (e.g. IP address), browser type, browser version, the pages of our Service that you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages, unique device identifiers and other diagnostic data.

Tracking & Cookies Data

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to track the activity on our Service and hold certain information. Worker Performance Rating

Upon completion of a Worker's job placement, the Airlads site will allow the Builder (Hirer) to rate the Worker's overall job performance. The rating will be displayed on the Worker's profile to show other prospective Hirer's of the Worker's performance, and thus potentially boost the Worker's future hiring chances.

Delete Profile & Accessing Personal Information

We will allow you, at any time, to access, edit, update and / or delete the personal information that we hold about you, unless:

No unreasonable requests to have information deleted will be denied.

Transfer of Data

Your information, including Personal Data, may be transferred to — and maintained on — computers located outside of your state, province, country or other governmental jurisdiction where the data protection laws may differ than those from your jurisdiction. Your consent to this Privacy Policy followed by your submission of such information represents your agreement to that transfer.
